Cancellation / Re-scheduling

  • Once a delivery appointment has been confirmed with you it may only be cancelled or re-scheduled subject to an additional fee being paid (ie 50% delivery charge).

Returns:

  • If in the unlikely event this item arrives with any faults please inform us within 24 hours of receipt by email and photographic evidence of the damaged item to make a valid claim.
  • If our initial investigation does not resolve the matter within 48 hours we will collect the faulty item and either refund it or provide you with a replacement.
  • Due to the weight and size of this item Yo-Yo DESK® BIKE may only be returned in the unlikely case that it is faulty. A collection fee of £60 ex VAT may be applicable.

The Yo-Yo DESK® BIKE is not a spinning or gym bike. It is designed for moderate exercise so you do not need pedal straps. The desk is incredibly sturdy and is designed to keep your screen/keyboard static while you pedal. If you maintain a consistent pace, you can type and pedal at the same time.

I weigh 100kg. Is there a weight limit for users of the Yo-Yo DESK® BIKE?

The recommended maximum user weight for the Yo-Yo DESK® BIKE is 135kg.

Can you "coast" on this bike, so the wheel continues to spin even after you stop cycling? Or does the wheel stop instantly when you cease pedalling?

There is no coasting with the Yo-Yo DESK® BIKE. When you stop, the internal wheel stops too.

The Yo-Yo DESK® BIKE doesn't need electricity, right?

That is correct. You operate the Yo-Yo DESK® BIKE by pedalling. All it requires are two AA batteries to power the LCD display (the small screen that displays cycling duration, calories, and distance).

Will my knees hit the desk when I pedal? I understand the Yo-Yo DESK® BIKE is adjustable, but if the desk is too high it could make typing uncomfortable.

You can raise/lower both the saddle and the desktop to your comfort level. If you adjust both properly, you will not hit your knees when pedalling.

The Yo-Yo DESK® BIKE is not designed for standing on the pedals, although it will tolerate users doing so if they are below 90kg in weight. It is designed for non-intensive, non-vigorous exercise, to maintain low-levels of activity when passing time working on a laptop, reading or watching TV.

Do you have any recommended bike seats to make the Yo-Yo DESK® BIKE more comfortable to sit on?

The Yo-Yo DESK® BIKE offers excellent seat design and cushioning for ultimate comfort. We do not offer alternative saddles. The BIKE is designed to be comfortable for usage of up to 30 minutes at a time, encouraging ongoing movement and changes in position as per the recommendations of active working.

Is the Yo-Yo DESK® BIKE eligible for 30-day FREE TRIAL?

Unfortunately, the Yo-Yo DESK® BIKE is not available under our FREE trial options. This is due to high demand, the size of the packaging and the high cost of delivery/collection.

What mechanism is used for pedalling?

The Yo-Yo DESK® BIKE uses a V-ribbed belt in its transmission.
